There are a number of current site glitches that must be affecting ebay's sales results in a significant way.
Selling Manager is not working properly for bulk relisting and ending listings and also for updating photo "violations". Customer Support have said that they are well aware of this and have reported the issue to the developers.
Turbo Lister is also causing problems with compression and size reduction of photos resulting in violations and a recent glitch where bulk listing does not recognize promotions when calculating fees.
These glitches ultimately stop sellers from listing as much as they could because of the wasted time in trying to work out what is causing the problems and the time spent trying to find workarounds.
I have been told that the developers can spend months in resolving various issues.
The end result is that ebay must be losing a ton of money because sellers are not able to efficiently bulk list their items without having problems.
