Spam emails

A just out of curiosity post.

I am getting in my spam inbox, emails from ebay about doing a survey with the reward being a $500 gift card.

The email is addressed to my email address, not my ebay ID.

The ebay email (say that quickly after a couple of drinks!!) doesn't mention ebay at all.

Is anyone else receiving these emails?

Needless to say my delete button has been working over time.

Not sure if I have put this post in the right spot - not enough coffee at the moment.

Sandra

Spam emails

Have not seen this one. But I'd be sure it is attempted "phishing". (ie looking for presonal info)

Don't click on any links in the email.

If it's real ebay email it will also appear in your Messages Inbox when you are logged into your ebay account.

I get at least 3 to 5 spam/phishing/scam emails like this a day, claiming to be from different companies.  Most of them are easy to spot once you've seen a few of them.  They get better and better.

Spam emails

yes, I get up to about 10 a day and all of them I delete. Especially those written In Russian!

I was just curious to see if the ebay one was doing the rounds with other people.

Like everyone else, I never click on the links. The delete button works fine!!
