Hi Guys,
Have been a memeber for a while and last night I set up my first item. Im not very computer litereate so it to me hours to fdo all the html code and get the pictures working and in the right order, only to wake up this morning to find it has been cancelled. 😞
"We have ended the following listing(s) on your account as they appear to have been listed by an unauthorised third party"
How can I make sure this doesnt happen again?
Pretty dissapointed as like I said it took me so long to set up the listing so it was right, and all workign how I wanted.
I listed it from my normal computer, so my IP wouldnt have flagged up as over seas or anything strange. The listing had my email address in it, and its all linked to my PayPal, creit card and Bank account.

Can't tell you why ebay cancelled your listing,
but i have experienced over the years here, after hours of creating new listing design etc, some ebay glitch to occur, and all my work would be lost, or some competitor would report my listing for whatever trumped up reason, and it would be zapped forerver.
So, I highly recommend, copying the html code to either MS Notepad or using one of the free online html web page creaters (like Kompozer) & save it - any thing that will allow you to copy & paste the html code back into an ebay listing, should your live listing be removed permanently.

I seriously suggest that you go to the Customer Support link at the top right of this page,
Navigate through the help system to locate teh "Contact Us" link. Then click the various options until you get a phone number.
Phone eBay and ask them. Do not guess why they removed it - you need to find out.
The most likely reason is the compute ryou used has never been used previously. But that is a total guess - you need to find out for sure.

Just a hint; I have all html of my listings' templates with photos and description saved in my computer. Should something like that happen, all I would only need to correct the reason why it was removed and list again.
I think the fact that you put email address could be the reason; the automated messages often do not make sense, but do call eBay help, just in the case there is another problem. eBay takes very dim view of people re-listing items that have been removed.

Was it a high priced item?
There could have being a number of reasons why it was removed.
You have low feedback which makes it a target for scammers.
No seller experience,(again they would look at what you list).
The Email address is commonly used by scammers to direct buyers to deal off site.
You need to contact them and find out for sure,:-D
If it's a high priced item, you will need to come back to the boards to find out how to put your buyer blocks in place to avoid scammers.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will have to have a chat to them. May have been the email address, item was less than $15 including postage so the only other things that I can think that qould have raised concern would be the email and low feedback
Thanks

Low feedback is unlikely to be the reason if it was a $15 item. Make sure you find out the real reason and correct it before relisting or you might find you are suspended.
