Early hours this morning, I seen that my Feedback had finally reached 500 (yay new coloured star for me), but now it has dropped back to 499 (boo back to old coloured star) 🙂
There has been no Negative Feedback in the meantime to make it drop back, and its showing my last feedback left was a few days ago. This has got me a little confused how this could happen. I also checked my dashboard, and seems that one thing has been given a "1" score overnight. How does this happen without feedback being left
Could it be that someone has left derogatory Neg Feedback and eBay temselves have removed it ? Or could the person that left me Positive Feedback, gone back in and removed that Feedback ?
Hmmm a wee bit strange

eBay will remove all feedback left by someone if they are deregistered within 90 days of becoming a member, so positive feedback can sometimes disappear that way.
They also delay the DSRs a day or two to help try and keep them anonymous, so unfortunately it would have been left along with one of your recent positives.

Thanks for the info DG
But still not sure how it went to 500 when I haven`t had any feedback left for 3 days ?

That I don't know... About the only way I can think of to check is to go over your recent sales and look for any that are showing as feedback left by the buyer via the icons, but that is not appearing on your profile, but I think it was more likely a system glitch since two FB would have needed to be left (one pos and one neg) to go to 500 then back to 499, and both would have had to be removed for there to be no change in your actual FB profile - at least, it wouldn't be the first time the feedback page / score has been a little wonky.

If a buyer buys multiple items in the one sales transaction, only one feedback is generally allowed for that transaction. maybe the buyer left several positive feedbacks and the system readjusts to compensate for this.

No, that was the thing independantparts, there has been no feedback left for me since the 9th February
(which is annoying in itself cause I`ve posted out about 20 sales)
