We have a block set on our stores to block buyers with 2 or more non-payment strikes in 6-months. Reasonably lenient I thought.
Yesterday we received a message from a buyer who had been blocked for too many strikes.
She pleaded with us to unblock her as she really, really wanted the item and promised to pay straight away.
So I said I would give her a temporary unblock.
I went into our buyer requurement activity log which is where I thought you can do that.
I see a button down the bottom saying "Exempt from Buyer Requirements".
However, all but a couple of the records show a "*" under UserID. And these ones also do not have a check box at the left.
I could tell which one was her because of the FB score.
But there seemed to be no way to unblock her because I could not select her ID to exempt it.
So I tried removing my buyer requirements totally but she said she still could not buy.
In the end I said well bad luck but this is what happens when you don't pay. Never heard from her again. Her FB history suggested a pretty poor record with quite a few NEG comments about non-payment. Possibly against ebay policy to do that I think.
Anyone know what I may be doing wrong that I cannot lift a block on a specific buyer?
I don't want to remove my buyer requirements totally as these non-payers are a total pain in the *BLEEP*.

there is nothing to tick, you add the buyers ID to the buyer exemption list and enter a comma after it

The buyer - bidder management page has links to block buyers list and buyer exemption links

The user IDs don't show for buyers blocked due to strikes. They show for the other reasons - non verified, from other countries etc and these can be exempted by ticking the box next to their name in your Log.

Aha!
Thanks catspjs for that. Well done.
I was going to the wrong place.
I've saved the 2nd link as a shortcut in my browser so I can find it next time easily.
Don't need it too often thankfully.

no worries - you can also create a short cut to them in the shortcut menu on your myeBay selling page - I find my shortcuts like BBL and To Post a real timesaver.
unfortunately I need the block bidder list all too frequently for those pesky non-paying buyers
