That little bell up the top in my ebay is saying the wrong thing.

Has anyone else noticed if you hold the cursor over the bell, it will bring up items that you sold and posted months ago.

It will say " your item sold and you got paid - ship now.

What's the point in having this little bell if it can't be accurate - good one ebay.

Human nature, I guess, to idly 'doodle' when bored rather than be genuinely productive. >_>

If only something would be done about the cart / checkout issues. Being able to simply and easily check out with multiple items from the same seller, no matter which device / app is being used, could (arguably) be the single biggest improvement to actual site functionality at the moment, for both buyers and sellers. I will never understand why this sort of thing isn't a priority.

I loathe the addition of the bell Cat Frustrated

This "development" just shows that eBays current priorities for improving the web interface for sellers and buyers are clearly out of touch with the reality of improvements that are sadly needed, such as shopping cart FIX PLEASE.

What a useless, annoying, glitch ridden addition it is.

Zero seller or buyer satisfaction increase here, in fact decline ..... no actually total FAIL.

One thing that will be an issue for sellers.

I keep a lot of items on watch. At times, can be fifty or more.

The little bell has been notifying me that (1) the item is on my watch list (2) the item is due to end shortly (3) the item is ending (4) the item is relisted

at any of these stages, I can "turn off" further notifications. To happily keep things ticking along without dozens of bell doobies to clear every day. The trouble is, "turn off" doesn't turn the wretched things off! I still get notifications for items for as long as they are on my watch list.

so now, instead of watching items while I browse, compare, think about it and then nine times out of ten, Buy, I am dumping them as soon as I get that next notification after "turn off" fails.

gigantic fail eBay.

To give you a better experience of trading on eBay of course................

A stupid addition that doesn't work at all, and you can't get rid of the mongrel thing......

Mine shows items that have finished a week or so ago and still asks me if I want to bid on them when I've already won the things.

FAIL again techs, when you get bored don't stuff around with the system, fix the things that really need fixing. dickw!ts.............
