Thought it would be good just to have a single thread devoted to seller promos and free listings.

That's exactly what happened to me. No option to accept, just auto accept.

So now there are 3 offers.
1 with zero insertion and FVF
1 with $1 FVf
1 with 500 free (insertion fees only)!
Great coordination, ebay!

I believe that whichever one was clicked first will rule supreme......the one with only free insertion fees.
Funny, months back people were begging for free listings, now we're being inundated with them!

Addit to my last post. I relisted an item and it came off the totally fee free promo, so it looks like (for me anyway), that clicking a new promo will override an earlier one.

re: $0 Insertion & Final Value Fees 5-6th November
i just wanted to clarify, this includes auctions as long as they START in the promotional period correct? also do the free listings in the promo come out of my 40 free listings per month? thanks all

Yes, you can list as auctions. No, it doesn't come off your 40 freebies. Just remember that if you select the item to auto relist after 7 or 10 days, it reverts back to normal with the normal fees applicable when it sells (auto relist doesn't come off your 40).

thanks tippytoes, i thought that was the case, would be good if Ebay said so in the wording though

Just got off chat with eBay.
There was/is a giant pink 'November Mystery Gift' banner in the My eBay: Summary page saying 'Reveal My Offer' linked to this promo for 5 free listings with no fees or FVF once clicked:
https://sellercentre.ebay.com.au/promo/7067?_trkparms=%26clkid%3D8004454970136549994
Accepting the offer was surprising as it said qualification was by invitation only. Oh really? Wasn't the banner I clicked an invitation to participate in the promo as I 'revealed my gift'?
The lady on chat apologised and said I didn't qualify for the promo. I asked what the purpose of the banner was then as it's the wording that implies I had a gift waiting for me and when revealed it was the linked promo for 5 free listings which wasn't actually for me. I asked if it was a sitewide promo and she said yes. I asked if it was the only promo linked to the banner. She also said yes.
The rep was nice although sarcastic at times but made it right though with a small voucher when prompted about the error and my persistent question she could not answer: what was my 'November Mystery Gift'. Yes I was being a bit cheeky but polite always. That's $50 now this year in vouchers gifted for eBay's incompetence over 3 issues they created. The other two were accusatory emails about selling outside eBay and warnings that made no sense. Automatic stuff. Take what you can get for the 'chat' experience which is awful most of the time.
Apparently my feedback will make up the chain. Not so sure about that. I did say it was poor form to tell people they qualify for a promo only to say they don't when the attempt to access the said promo. Sitewide!

Mmmm - no special listing deal for this weekend. Pity as I have quite a few new listings ready to go (for a change).
