As a seller, can I turn off the invoice facility with my listings when customers go to checkout? I would prefer customers to just purchase the item, rather than chase an invoice. I'm just wondering if this is possible in ebay or not? Many thanks for your help.

Unless a buyer has bought multiple items from you and you are willing to combine/discount postage, they don't need an invoice they can simply click on "pay now".
As to turning it off I would doubt it as that would be an eBay generated email to the buyer that's sent after a couple of days.

Thanks for that. I just notice customers buying items but not paying immediately. Then I go into selling/sold it says 'send invoice' which is what I do - but then obviously have to wait for customers to pay which may be several days.

Yep I only have buy it now products so maybe need to list my wording differently?

When a buyer uses BIN or wins an auction ebay send them an email which has a pay now link, buyers can also pay through their items won ebay page so there is no need to send an invoice and you can ignore the ebay reminder to do so. I only send one if I am combining postage or if the buyer has not paid by the end of day 3, I then use the invoice as a reminder.
