I am a bit confused, there is nothing new about this, it has been only 20 free listings per month in the UK since free listings started. Listing fees aftyer using up the free allocation and FVFs are more too plus it is more expensive to use Paypal. It has always been that way and I haven't sold for a while now  while in the UKas it is not worth my time for the amount I could list because of limited space.

Yep, they have always been stingy with free listings in the UK, however, they also pay about half the insertion fees for the non-free ones (35p vs. our $1.50).
