Unpaid Item dispute

Hi,

I've just opened an unpaid item dispute, I had received advice on here to close after four days, can you please tell me why and what happens if they don't pay or respond within those four days?

You have to close the dispute after 4 days in order for the buyer to get a strike and you to get a refund of your Final Value Fees.

If they don't pay you close the case and they get a strike.  If they have more than 1 strike in the last 12 months it will stop them from bidding on items or buying-now from prudent sellers.  And you have to close to prevent the 'buyer' from leaving you feedback.
