Unwelcome pop ups

All of a sudden I am being tortured with pop up pictures advertising things for sale on eBay. Even when I am trying to list something for sale and even as I am typing this question. This is extremely annoying - does anyone know how I can stop it?

We get them all the time too and also find them very annoying. Even adevrtising items from our competitors.

As far as I know you can't block them.

All you can do is leave ebay behind as we intend to do once our own independent web site is working.

I must have all the ad blockers in place because I don't get a single one - I really feel for all the people who are constantly tortured by them - it must be driving them nuts.

Thanks for that link.

I just installed AdBlock Plus onto my computer.

And now I'm not getting the ads. So I guess they were coming from something external to the ebay website.

But I'm also not seeing the ones I thought were internal ebay sponsored ads.

Either way its much better now.
