I have noticed consistently that when I upload a batch of new items, I make more sales in the 12 hours afterwards, and it isn't the new items, often it is older items which sell. My assumption is that my store as a whole is pushed higher into the search results for a little while due to new items.
Is this the case or is it just a big coincidence? It seems beyond coincidence at this point.
If this is the case, does anyone know if there is a formula to it? I am trying to upload a few items every day at this point, would I be better uploading a lot of items once a week? Is there a specific number of listings which gather attention? Is 6 at a time better than 2 at a time for exposure? Does relisting items have the same effect? What if I am 'relisting' an item but I upload it fresh through turbo lister instead of using the relist button on ebay? Or am I overthinking the whole thing lol

I am not sure if there is a pattern, but I have also had some of my older listed items sell recently. I try to list new items weekly generally on a Thursday to end on a Sunday, occasionally I list on other days, but not sure if this makes a difference. My motto is to keep listing a few new items regularly to keep interest levels up and to also attract new buyers as well.
