Hi all, how can I do to get Ebay to review and remove negative feedback a buyer has left for me. I sold them a COVER for a door draft stopper and they were expecting a cover and snake. The title clearly states the item is a cover and the item description says many times that the item is a cover only and buyer will have to purchase your own snake. No discussion was even attempted just neg. feedback left from a buyer with a 0 feedback rating. I requested a revision of feedback left by the buyer but they have formally declined stating the original feedback was correct. What can I do now? They also stated the item was overpriced and they thought it unbelievable they would have to fill the cover themselves. Obviously they chose to purchase the item at the cost it was. No questions were ever asked before purchase and the description is clear that the listing is for a cover only. Im so angry.........

I received my first negative feedback to. The buyer bought the wrong item and didn't even contact me until after leaving negative feedback. It clearly stated the edition I was selling plus the image I uploaded. Can I get the negative removed? Ty.
..... and this is Australian forum, as you are in Canada you would be better off asking over there.

I know this is the AU forum and I decided to post here because I have the exact same problem. I posted there already and I called eBay with no success.

Hi Ty,
It's a pity calling Ebay didn't get you any result, it might be worth asking them again, especially as nowhere did you say Hitman edition or even special edition, (that I could see anyway). If you don't get anywhere, keep in mind that your response to the feedback does explain the error on the buyer's part adequately, so there's a good chance anyone checking your feedback wouldn't be put off. And also keep in mind that though some buyers won't read the description properly, it's always good to cover yourself by over describing, even stating the bleeding obvious several times!
Still though, unwarranted negs are unfair and does effect your feedback percentage. Keep bugging eBay is all I can suggest, and I'm sorry I can't be more helpful!

I disagree.
But I don't drag up three month old threads to post generalities. Sorry 11 month old threads.
And I know how the system works.
Which all sellers (and buyers) should. As they all agree that they have read and understood eBay's T&Cs when they join.
