Do any of you ever look to see what is posted on there?
I used to look all the time but haven't for a while. Now I remember why.
People are asking for designer lables at around 20% of their value or iphone 4 for 60% of retail.
I especially love the ones that say "won't may more than $15" gee that really makes me want to go to all the effort of sourcing the item, photographing, measuring, describing and listing ๐
I know that you can get some great bargains on eBay but some of the posts on there are crazy

I used to look off-and-on, but it's been a while. I've posted there, too (looking for CDs) but never got a response.
One post I saw did make me shake my head a little - they, too, were looking for a certain CD, had stated a price range along with a very excitable (i.e caps & exclamation marks) warning to potential sellers that they knew what it was worth so don't even think about trying to rip them off. So inviting. :8}

I check it now and then but I found the same thing where posters wanted items at very low prices.
There where a number of regular posters on this site and another that where asking for items of high value that where worth $500 or more that they where willing to pay $50 for.
So you might also wonder how many members might have being "ripped" off by these "generous buyers" that where posting in Want it Now.

Nope
Used to look but I never saw one single ad for anything I had in stock so never bother anymore.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?

I checked every category link on the Want it Now page (http://pages.ebay.com.au/wantitnow/index.html) and they all lead directly back to the ebay.com.au home page. I tried this today - 6.10.2012. Anyone know why this is?

In true ebay style
....you can still post an item on want it now.......
check the link and click on post an ad now
http://pages.ebay.com.au/wantitnow/index.html?rt=nc
Unfortunately inquisitive suppliers/sellers cannot access the ads to find out what the buyer is looking for as they are redirected to the ebay home page....
I have posted some absolute "I am looking for a" want it now doozies over the last 3 weeks or so that want it now has been broken.....
I dread the day they actually fix it in case somebody reads my ads and can supply a "left handed skyhook in Azure", a bottle of "get up and go" cause mine got up and left or " Urgent 3 dozen donut holes.. have heaps of dough...name your price"
