Am trying to complete a basic listing as an occasional seller. Ebay is asking me to create shipping, payment and returns policies in order to complete my listing. However, it is not giving me any drop down options or other parts where I can click to make choices. When I click on the link that says create policy it says ebay is rolling out changes and I can't use these options yet. So basically can't list at the moment. Is there something I need to do that I can't see? Or is this an ebay problem at the moment? TIA would really appreciate any kind help.

Unfortunately, this has been happening to quite a few people lately, apparently it's a bug in the policies code. The only solution I've seen on the boards is contacting eBay customer service so that they can fix it.

Thanks for letting me know. Probably one of the reasons why contacting ebay is taking longer at moment (so they say). I will contact them.

you don't need the policies to list - you should be able to opt out and just put in your own postage etc.

Part of the bug is that when people try to access the Business Policies section in my eBay to opt out, they get an error message saying they don't have access to business policies yet.
