Normal time to pay is at the time of buying now or winning the auction but a lot may wait a day or 3.

ebay allow 8 days.

4 days after the sale the seller can open a non payer dispute which nis sent to the buyer and then 4 days late if no payment is received then the seller can close the dispute which gives the buyer a non paying strike, blocks them from leaving feedback and the seller gets their final value fee refunded.

Too many unpaid strikes can see a member deregistered by ebay.

After four days, you can open an unpaid item dispute, that gives them another four days to pay, and if they do not, you can relist.

If a buyer does not pay with a dispute, they will get a strike. Sellers can block non-payers based on strikes.

It is up to you how long you wait for payment, some sellers wait just the four days, others a week before opening a dispute.

It also depends on whether the buyer has asked to pay in a little while, like another couple of days, or if they want to bid on another item of yours and pay together. There, you just have to use your own judgement on what is a good idea ๐Ÿ™‚
