What's Up With Ebay

What the heck is going on with eBay at the moment.

The Basic upload option to upload pictures for your listing no longer operates, they have removed the BROWSE button.

This morning the items I am looking at to buy I generally add a note to which may relate to a snipe bid or how much I am prepared to bid on etc, well that option is not working at the moment.

Just more frustrations

Have you tried clearing your cookies and cache? That may fix it.

I found things a bit glitchy and really slow to load last night, but it was maintenance night and it all seems fine this morning.

I'll go and check the uploader and see if its working for me.

After googling the problem, found that the "Browse Button" vanishes as soon as Internet Explorer is updated to version 10 from version 9.

I have uninstalled IE10 and when this happens, IE9 is automatically reinstalled and hey presto, browse button re appears.

Also need to set Windows update to Manual rather than Automatic in order to stop IE updating itself back up to IE10.

I am certainly no computer whiz but a google of this prob brings up some easy to follow instructions on how to restore IE9 and the browse button.

eBay has never worked well with IE,  firefox seems to be their browser of choice.

using firefox usually fixes a lot of ebay problems

What's Up With Ebay

Had a load of problems this week - kept telling me to log in over and over. finally called the help desk - they told me to either go to firefox or delete all the cookies - whatever they are !!

Did the latter and it fixed it but a pain because other things needed to be re-instated. Had this problem once before with same answer - have a feeling it happens when Ebay start messing around with their format. Am now getting bounced to US site - have to re log in to Aus . Think their IT area needs better training.
