What's this payment for?? Never seen it before. Weird

Hi guys

Me and my mum each has a paypal account, I also have this ebay account for selling/buying.

Currently the ebay account is linked to my mum's Paypal, my own paypal has not been used on ebay for a long time.

Today I received an email saying ebay has charged me $75.92 as "Monthly eBay Seller Fees"; 1st I throught it's a scam email but when I log in to my paypal the money was actually taken... says "Payment Sent to: eBay International AG".

This is really weird, first I have never heard such "monthly fee"; and on the other hand why did they charge my account, which has not been used on ebay for long time?

I have sent an email to PP, did any of you guys experienced the same?

That's a fake, scam email designed to phish your details.

If you clicked any links in it, please run all necessary security scans, key logger detction etc, change your passwords (before and after scans).

They are fakes, don't click on any links, just delete them.

OP, how do your eBay fees usually get paid? The only way I can think of for this to be legitimate is that you usually pay eBay fees with your mom's account before they're due, but have your own PayPal account set up for automatic payment of fees and that's what's been charged? ?:|

No there is no fee overdue yet, and the current balance of my ebay account is $50 something.

Plus there wasn't any early notice about this payment.

Could this be a paypal's system error? Or maybe hacker?

I didn't click anything in that email by the way, and it was actually sent from service@paypal.com.au

You need to PHONE Paypal,emailing is a waste of time.

As Foxy said; go to your PP account and under the HELP tab you will find a phone number to call.
