Why are Seller's Not Allowed To........?

I know that only Buyer's get to leave a Feedback comment, but why is it that Seller's cannot leave a Feedback note as well ???  Make it a level playing field all round.  If one has a Buyer who is slow in paying, or does not pay, or disputes their purchase, one should have both Seller & Buyer rate their experience to other eBayer's.

Yes, there is PayPal to resolve "problems",  but a more open transparent view to all, may help those who are unfamiliar to eBay Policy.

just a thought.  Thankyou.

Thank You Kopenhagen5, Could not remember the correct order of events. Sellers, well just keep good records in case they are needed later down the track. Thanks.

It's a long story, but sellers used to be able to leave buyers neutral and negative feedback once upon a time. There were lots of retaliatory feedback given and it got very ugly sometimes.

Both buyers and sellers can leave a feedback comment.

Sellers can only leave a positive with a comment.

Non payers, well you just open the unpaid case and issue the buyer with a strike, strikes are better than feedback as they automatically block buyers from buying or bidding if you set your blocks. Smiley Wink
