Why doesn't ebay accept my payment options as a seller?

It says the following but I have twice entered my payment details- paypal and bank account: "You can't complete this listing right now. See below for details.

Attention It looks like you don't have an updated payment method on file with us. To complete your listing, please choose a payment method (credit/debit card or PayPal account) to pay your eBay seller fees."

eBay are prompting you to put an automatic payment method on file for your eBay fees (presuming the PayPal and bank deposot options are for how you wish to be paid by buyers) - if you follow the prompts, you should be able to select a preferred payment method, and the money for fees that you owe will be deducted once per month from the method you put on file.

Instructions are as you say, which I have completed for PayPal (email only asked for within the listing) and Bank Deposit (BSB and Acct No provided), but it doesn't appear to save or remember my entries. 😕

this is not about the payments in your listing, it is about your ACCOUNT with EBAY.

YOU need to set up your seller account for ebay to autojmatically take their fees from your paypal or c/card once a month.
