Why have Ebay made it impossible to leave negative feedback for buyers ?

I have been harrased and abused by a psycho buyer for one  long night and day , a day of abuse and yet Ebay do nothing, this woman has left abusive feedback .. negative .. and Ebay do nothing, its a joke, I'm closing my account as soon as I can, I dont need this.

You can try reporting the buyer by using this link. Be factual and remain calm. Keep any correspondence between you both.

If that doesn't work, RING eBay customer service and ask to speak to a supervisor. Ask that they look at the messages between yourself and the buyer (they can do that), to back up your claims. Again, be polite and remain calm.

as Ebay said - they found that negative feedback / experience for buyers makes it less likely they will come back to use the site again.

Buyers are what makes Ebay money. If they arent here, Ebay cant take a percentage of sales OR listing fees, because if there are not enough buyers, its not finanancially viable for sellers to list their items.

They are allowed to leave negative feedback. If you dont agree with it, you can explain (usually with evidence) and ask Ebay to remove it (it might take weeks, if they do).

Either way, never get involved in long winded explanations/ converations or emtional exchanges with buyers.

there are a few of them around at the moment I had a nasty last week or the week before sending me abusive messages. I rang customer support and they finally stopped her, reporting the messages did nothing.

OP - as you have made your fb private I can not see the feedback nor your response to it, so without knowing that I can not comment either way.

If it is causing you such stress however, closing your account would be for the best, and if the emails are of an abusive nature save them all and report this buyer.
