Did you receive an eBay email to confirm the listing was submitted?
If not, you may not have completed the listing and will need to do it again. If you did receive an email then some listings can take a while to appear in search results especially some brand name items.

No, it doesn't usually take this long. You could try ringing eBay to see if there's a problem although I'm not sure if their call centre is back up and running yet after the earthquake.

This may or may not be the case, but the information may assist other posters in responding to queries anyway.
If you using a new id and have one of your first few listings is removed or "flagged" for any reason (or maybe listing high value or high risk items) trust and safety add additional filters on your future listings that delay visibility for 12- 24 hours, until you have received enough positive feedback and good DSRs to satisfy that you are not a security risk.
It happened to me earlier this year when I started a new selling ID and transferred photos and listing details from an unsold item on another ID - the bots picked it up and the listing was ended.
My next lot of listings did not appear in search for at least 12 hours, sometimes longer, and I was told by ebay that despite being a reputable seller on other IDs there was nothing I could do as the "system" had automatically noted my new ID as a potential security risk. When I had a decent level of feedback and great DSRs the delay just stopped occuring.
Though annoying for new sellers, it is satisfying to know that there is at least some level of trust and safety activity is occuring regarding monitoring new IDs.
