Hi there,
Just made a sale for camera equipment worth $1000, and have just recieved the following email from the buyer in the UK. Red flags everywhere - my listing only lists PayPal as a payment option, and posts only to Australia for a start - so I don't intend to go through with his requests:
Hi,i want to let you know that I'm happy to be the buyer of your loving item,am buying it for my adopted-son at oversea as a New Year gift,i want the item to be posted out Via AUSTRALIAN POST EXPRESS(AT LEAST 3-4 DAYS DELIVERY)for Fast delivery,I will offer you the sum AU$1,200 for the cost of the item and shipment.I will be paying you for the item via Bank Deposit, get back to me on my personal email on eBay and also with your bank details also with the ebay item number or to this email(rlewischaplin@outlook.**bleep**)so that i can make payment.
Happy New Year.

My question is this - how to I cancel this sale and relist without the risk of negative feedback from the 'winning' bidder?

It is a scam.
Call ebay and get them to cancel the sale.
Sounds like an account has been hijacked or created to scam with
Here is the free call number 1800 088 741

And change your settings to block buyers in countries you don't post to.
