I have had a few customers comment in the last few days that when they go to buy from me the 'Add to Cart' or 'Buy it now' options have been replaced with 'BUYING OPTIONS' and when you select it the following error message comes up
'You cant purchase this item from our app. Add to your watch list & purchase on our website' ..
Has anyone else experienceded this!!?? It seems to happen when buying from the mobile app... I have tried to buy myself from another account and it happens to me ( ebay app has been updated)
I am losing so many potential customers from this

Sounds as if they are trying to buy via their phone using an "AP". I've heard many cases of people striking trouble trying to purchase via their phones, apparently not all features are available this way. I must admit, that apart from the previous mentioned, I know nothing of mobile phones, I only use one to make or receive calls, so someone who knows more might answer this post for you soon.

I haven't had anyone tell me this is happening, but I've experienced an unusual downturn in sales in the last week or so. If it is affecting the app, it would make a huge difference. I'm a bit of a PC hold-out, and use it to list (especially after recent changes), but even I use the app most of the time when buying.

I am able to add an item to the cart or get to the confirm and pay page on the app. It may only be on some items though as I only tried a few.

I'm also having this problem, 4 years later. Any fix? I've contacted support a few times now and they just say they talk to technical support for them to fix it.

I still have problems with this to be honest. It seems to happen when buyers try to purchase with the app rather than a pc
