Up until and including January (on a different selling ID to this) I have always received an email from ebay confirming each of my listings within a few minutes of completing the listing. For the 10 items I listed at the weekend I did not receive any confirmation emails.
I emailed ebay customer help and got a very unhelpful reply:
You will not be able to receive notifications that your listing is already active. What you can do here is to directly check on your active listings if the items are successfully listed
You 'will not be able to'???? What does this mean?
Is no longer sending an email confirming listings something new?

I just finished listing and got an email for each item listed

Me too, listed and re-listed and email notification for all. Wonderful how helpful they are isn't it.
Mind you so long as the listings are there probably wouldn't worry too much (maybe you won't get charged lol)

I've always found it pot-luck whether I receive them or not.

There will be a box somewhere that perhaps you've inadvertently ticked. Check your preferences under My Account - it's most probably there:-)

I'm sure there is an option somewhere to tick that you don't want them, as I have done so. I get enough spam without inviting it.
Seller preferences, probably.

Mmmm.. I am not aware of changing any of my preferences, but I went into my Communication Preferences, and changed the Daily Digest to Immediate Notification. Perhaps that will change things.
