any sales????.........................zzzzzzzz

wow currently no bites, usually this time of year sales go off.... anyone else noticed a lull comparitive to this time last year.

I know it depends on what you sell, however any further hints?

Sales seem to be terrible at the moment. Each month seems to be getting quieter

To the person who said he hadn`t heard October is normally a quiet month, traditionally in retail it is a quiet month, because people are saving their money for Christmas, and normally start doing their shopping toward the mid to end of November.

But still, with 100`s more listings, a more diverse range of products, I didn`t expect to be down 50% on last month, which was already down 50% on the previous month, so doing a quarter of what I was only 2 months ago

Same here, its been terrible for me, but then again I have cut back on my listings, the more the better I say.  My sister sells as well, but she does extremely well.  She lists approx. 300 items, and she is always going to the post office.  lol.  

There is a lot of online competition out there, shoes, clothes, handbags, groupons, scoopons, blah blah blah, it makes it hard to sell our goods.  

Might have to look at something exclusive in the future.  

One thing is to our advantage, most people think of ebay before they look elsewhere, and we do get great exposure.  

I pray we all have some good months coming in.
