automatic relist dilemma

At first I thought I must have forgotten to tick the relist box, because over the last two weeks only a fraction of my 'supposedly auto relists'  have been relisting! But since I've neen checking it more closely I'm noticing that several of my listings that I have started together, especially by the same author,  are now clearly being sent to the listing ended and not being relisted! Is this another eBay glitch, or am I alone in this problem? Cat Frustrated

It could be the same glitch that happened to me last year.

Go through your unsold items list and you will probably see some with no automation rule set.

You'll have to relist manually and reset the rule.

Good luck if you plan to use the bulk editor as it's been playing up too.

I really wish eBay could get the site working properly.

automatic relist dilemma

did you know (as I found out today) that if you are a high volume lister, power seller, or top rated seller you won't always get the automatic re-list 3 times option. Why? because ebay then deems you as a business seller, and business sellers aren't eligible for the 3-times option.

When I asked why this isn't mentioned in the terms and conditions of re-listing, Ebay said that it is an issue that marketing and technical support are working on, and they will update all affected users when possible. I asked when this would be and they said they didn't know.

I don't think it is fair, I am not a business (however I am a very experienced seller, and used to run a business) and do this is a diversion from my 24/7 chronic pain due to a spinal disease.

I have a featured store and am allowed 500 free listings a month, and prefer to use these to list new items each month and also to re-list items for a shorter period.

Interested in other peoples views.

automatic relist dilemma

I am a powerseller and a top rated seller and the only time I had issues with items relisting, eBay told me to clear my cache and that fixed it. I've relisted quite a few things today, but have had to revise each and every one to tick the box. Could that be part of the issue for some people? Could they be just clicking relist and submit, but not going in to check if the box is ticked? In the past if I have relisted, the box auto ticked if it was ticked last time around and I'd just have to hit relist and submit if I didn't want to make any changes. Just a thought.....

ok, I will try to clear the cache (but I do that regularly anyway), I am not even getting the option to tick the auto-relist.

I know there will be some that have already had the 3 free re-listing.

I just wish Ebay would figure out what options I can and cannot have.

😞

If you have a store you will never get the option. it is only for non-store holders. Store holders get the 30 day or GTC 30 day options.

Not that hard to work out, given the option is available when relevant.

Actually, everyone was given 3 free relistings back in April and very shortly those original free listings will be finished their run - assuming they didn't sell!  But I am making mention of the problem with ones that have been around only once, and yes, free listing x 3 were ticked, and half of these are relisting and half are not! I keep written note of what, when and how many times! And yes, I am a store owner and yes, we all get the free relist x 3. May be a glitch, lucky for my store free listings, it hasn't cost me anything but time so far!Cat Frustrated

thanks to threecatsndogs for clearing that up, the automatic re-list was for everyone, I have had a store since 2011 under this name and previously for 10 years under a different id (ilovefashion!) because then i was running a full time business.

The automatic re-list option isn't showing up at all and hasn't been since tuesday. I wonder if it works on the $$ value of sales rather than the size of your shop.
