hi guy`s I sold a pair of nike shoes on the 24th(4pm) on the,on the 26th midday,I received 3 threatening messages regarding item not received??Now considering he lives like 4 suburbs away, and paid with no post, you assume they are picking up??I sent contact details as u do for pick up items, and then this, now i refunded his money, requested cancell transaction, but he has gone on and left me bad feedback?? personally I think its some kid who wanted to wear his new shoes out on friday night, no idea how things in the real world work, and he got upset????thats what it sounds like!! so now until ebay gets around to removing the bad feedback, people will be seeing the **bleep**py feedback this goose left, thats not on!!!they should only allow both party`s to leave feedback only after items are sent and received etc, not right away?? NOT A VERY WELL THOUGHT OUT SYSTEM ?? THANKS FOR LISTENING TO ME WHINGE ITS NICE, CHEERS GUY`S JO

Unbelievable!
Even if you had posted them, a buyer could hardly expect them to arrive in less than 48 hours.
It sounds as if you just struck an unreasonable buyer. I don't know if it would have helped but perhaps after they paid for the item, you could have queried them, saying you noticed they never paid for postage, so did they intend to pick up the item? I am just wondering if they expected you to drop it off at their place, I wouldn't put it past some people.
You have the right to reply to that negative feedback and if I were you, I would. It is your opportunity to counteract it.
Think carefully what you cna fit into the short reply they allow, make it factual to explain as best you can what the situation was.
I often look at feedback but quite frankly, some negative and neutral feedback comes across as unfair and I have learnt not to take too much notice of that.
But without a reply by you, a person looking at your feedback won't know what happened.

Oh dear. You were advised to respond to the feedback,i.e with a 'follow-up' to their neg, not leave a retalliatory positive with negative comments. That is against Ebay policy; the buyer can have it removed if he/she complqains, and you will be left with a violation sanction against your account.

In my listings I have 1 day proccessing and standard post 1 to 6 days. I sold an item on the Friday evening of the June long weekend and on the Tuesday received a message 'I haven't received my item'. I messaged the buyer and said that I posted it on the Sunday (letter sized) but because of the long weekend, it would have sat in the mail box until the morning of that day.(Tuesday)
She messaged me back and said that eBay told her the date of delivery was that day. (Tuesday)
Would that be right, or was she fibbing?
