they dont give you the option as anything BUT positive ......................as a seller you should know this

Sellers do know this, it has been that way since 2008

Most sellers do not reward bad behaviour with positive green ticks

Feedback is 100% voluntary

You do not have to leave feedback at all, that is the point

Choosing to give a green tick with a neg comment is against eBay policy

And it encourages the buyer's bad behaviour. Of course they are going to keep doing it when they do as they please and get a big ol' green tick for it

There is no excuse for it

As a seller, you should know that

Sandy is very well aware of that and if you read the Countess' post you should also be aware that leaving a buyer with a positive with negative comments is very much against the feedback policy.

If you get reported on doing that YOU will be the one that gets penalised and may get your account sanctioned................

Edit. Snap Sandy.

Even is eBay does'nt slap them, eBay  will remove the comment and leave the green tick

All for the sake of a few minutes of 'feeling good' about leaving a negative comment

And, as has been said, nobody else has one single clue who the OP  is talking about

only the seller and the 'buyer' being rewarded  see the buyer's ID

Something else after 20 years a seller ought to be well aware of
