Sorry, but no. Although it seems like a thoughtful thing to do, it's actually equivalent to spam, so the best you can do is list it and hope they might see or want it. If you use the relist function, and adjust whichever information that's necessary before submitting, there will be a note next to the item on the buyer's purchase history saying "The seller relisted this item or one like this" or somesuch.
