I have a buyer who supplied an incorrect address on Paypal (weeks ago). It was obviously incorrect (listed two different towns and a strange business name that doesnt actually exist as a business). I tried to contact them to check the address, with no reply.
So i sent the item anyway (only worth $1.50 so no matter if I have to refund).
I get an email weeks later buyer says item not received. I replied, asking if they could confirm their postal address. No reply. Another email from them INR. another email from me, please confirm address. No reply.
So I gave up and refunded them. All good so far, right?
An hour after I refund, they purchase more items, with an apology from them in the Paypal note for not reading my emails. I check the Paypal address, STILL the same WRONG address despite now three emails from me requesting a correct address, and telling them that Aus Post confirmed that address didnt exist (which they did).
So, Ive cancelled the order, pending them correcting their address in Paypal.
Question is - what happens if they DONT confirm the cancelation? is there an option in that email for them to say the cancelation was in error or incorrect and insist on the item being sent?
Because they havent actually admitted the address is incorrect in email, I dont actually have any proof to be rid of any defects I might get. I dont think they will read the cancelation request since they didnt read any of my emails.
I just want to get them on my block list ASAP.

oh this person has also purchased over 125 items in the past month alone, going on their feedback, which is all positive. A couple of sellers I recognise, and I know they leave feedback on purchase, so if item wasnt received no one really knows.
Bizzarre.

Ebay address was the same as their Paypal address, with the same spelling mistakes too.
"what did you think would happen sending an item that had 2 suburbs and no such bisiness address."
What do you mean "what did i think"? you couldnt figure that out from my post? Its obvious what happens when you send something to an address that may be wrong, dontchya think? Clearly I took the risk and sent it anyways because 1. numerous positive feedback from the past month, indicating they have received mail at that address 2. it was only $1.50 so it didnt matter if I had to refund. 3. they didnt reply (I do realise they didnt need to for me to cancel the order, again, risk).
Did you have any type of intelligent response to my actual question?

As far as I know (not been the buyer in this kind of scenario, though), the can either confirm or deny a refund was issued, and if they do neither, the request should 'time out' after about 10 days and cancel the transaction automatically.
