Hi, My question is will eBay ever consider having a Reserve Price for items other than cars (i.e musical instruments).

I'd say it's unlikely, as I'm pretty sure there used to be a reserve function in other categories but was removed years ago due to unpopularity.

They used to have it on Ebay UK when I lived there. Not sure if they still do.

it is still on ebay UK but only over a certain value
reserves proved to be so unpopular on ebay aussie that it was removed years ago.

Why not just start your item at the lowest price you will except? same as reserve price.
