ebays authenticators return wrong shoes

Hoping someones able to help me out.

I sold a paid of US11 jordan 4 white oreos on 22 July. came home today (22 August) to find a parcel at my door.  Upon opening I found a pair of US10.5 white jordan 3's . It looks like the shoes somehow failed authentication (I won the shoes in a raffle from Australian retailer upthere store.)

what do i do in this situation? the shoes were legit, brand new and still factory laced. is there a way i can get my payment for the shoes i sold or at the very least get the correct shoes back?!

i feel like ive been scammed by the authenticators who have taken my shoes, marked them as fakes, and shipping off a completely different pair or shoes in the hopes i wouldnt realise.

any help or guidence would be much appreciated

Have you received any notification from eBay?

I very much doubt that eBay has scammed you.

Any information on the package?

Have you contacted your buyer?

Okay, if you sold the shoes on 22 July, maybe under a different account, then surely the shoes returned to you would have been clearly packaged or with some sort of note in them to say it was from the authenticators?

Mistakes do happen.

Maybe take photos of the packaging & the shoes you have been sent. Is there a note saying US10.5 Jordan 3's?

I would have thought there would need to be some details included.

Then take a screen shot of your ad and the photos.

Maybe then contact ebay but do it where you actually speak to an ebay rep, see if they can help if you show them the photo evidence.

Did you at any time receive earlier notification the original shoes failed authentification?

So you sent off a pair of genuine Jordan 4's  and got back a pair of fake (failed authentication) Jordan 3's?
