emails from ebay and paypal

Is anyone else experiencing delays in emails comming from ebay and paypal when items are sold and payment made?

Some are comming through as normal but most are being delayed by more than 3 hours. Also when I created 2 new listings yesterday I got the normal 'created new listing' email for one listing but the second took 3+ hours to come through as well. Sales have also dropped significantly since this has started happening.

I don't think my invoices are going out at all.  I waited a couple of days but the email sent count still sits at 0. Had to manually send an invoice.

Didn't think they could be turned off.

Invoices are never sent out automatically, buyers receive a notification that they have won or bought an item with a pay now link but if you want an invoice sent as well you have to do it manually.

I wouldn't know if notification emails are delayed or not, I go into my email and transfer them all to the relevant files but I never read them or take any notice of how many have come through.
