Hi,
If I have either an auction or a BIN "garden-variety" (non-store) item I want to end early (maybe it's auto-relisted but I want to now give it to a friend - for example).......is there a timing thing (say - you can't end a listing within 12 hours of it ending).....and do you get charged fees or other penalties / costs if you do end something early?
I may have things I just don't want to see go aroung AGAIN (yeah - funny - the stuff without "free postage" --- how strange....)....either to list in combo lots, relist someother way (beyong just a revise) - or take off somewhere else to sell or donate....it is that rediculous.
If I sound gritchy - I am - I haven't even bothered listing more cos I am pondering the post changes & whether to invest in a new & needed lot of satchels or whatever - or just pack it all in.
Thanks for any info - oh wise minds out there.....

you can end your listing early. You wont get your listing fees back (or the credits for the "free" ones), but there are no other penalties for ending a listing early.

You can end an auction or BIN at any time, unless it's an auction with bids and there is less than 12 hours to go (if it never received a bid, you can end it manually right up until it ends on its own, if it received bids, you can cancel them but still not end the listing).

What are your primary goals? I advised to start including postage because I got the impression you were losing more than you were making overall even given that you had some sales.
If you want to sell at pretty much any cost, the best way to do it with clothing is bulk lots. 5kg satchels are $16.70 and can fit a fair amount of stuff in them.
Alternatively, look into Click & Send http://stores.ebay.com.au/Australia-Post-Store. You can buy the satchels upfront, but pay for the postage as you go, thus avoiding a high inventment in postage before sales have even been made (they don't have 5kg satchels, but the do have 3kg ones allowing for some bulk lots).
