Exactly what "glitch" are you talking about and when did it happen?
There has not been anything unusual happening that I am aware of, apart from the usual Friday afternoon glitches that can occur during routine maintenance. But they are nothing like you describe.

I would have thought that once you had marked an item posted it would disappear from your 'to be posted' list. I just do it from my 'My Selling' page, though. I don't use Selling Manager for anything. Actually I don't have Selling Manager, but the same applies to SMP.
I also normally only have one of any item to sell and have never sold multiples (at the same time) of any that I do have, so I know what I've posted, and can't resend as I no longer have it.
Works perfectly for me.

maybe you are doing something wrong?
i have been selling here for 8 years and never had any PP drama or anything like you describe. I just process my sales and print out the labels, and once that is done, the item is marked as sent. Unless what you mean is that people open dispute after couple of weeks when your items from China do not arrive.
that is because your listings are wrong, your items are not located in Melbourne they are in Chine; that is against eBay policy. When you drop ship you have to state the correct item location in the listing, not just mention it in all the carp you put in the description area.

If you use click & send then the tracking number should be entered automatically and it will be marked as posted but if you use another postage method, AP do not provide the info to ebay or sometimes just because it is Friday then you have to input any tracking number yourself and mark the item as posted. I can't imagine why you wouldn't automatically check to make sure an item was marked as posted as soon as you sent it.
Don't you keep a record of the items you have sent? Surely a quick look would show that the parcel was already on it's way and you could mark it as posted?

If you use click & send................
PJ, she is dropshipping from China. ๐

Oh well then, obviously not ebay's fault I should imagine unless China Post are linked to ebay and input tracking and posting status automatically.
Yet one more reason to never try dropshipping, especially from overseas!

Actually, there is a known glitch in Selling Manager that shows items that have already been posted as waiting to post - there have been threads about it on the Power Seller board, and while most sellers seem to pick up on it pretty quick due to (I imagine) being fairly involved in most, if not all, of the order processing, for anyone who has a high volume of sales and several people involved in order processing, it could mean items being incorrectly sent / re-sent.
So it is an eBay issue and has the potential to cause a few problems for sellers.
Sorry, I don't know of a fix other than a manual double-check.
