Hi all. I was able to list 30 items over a month ago. Then the listings expired and when I relisted again, I was charged for every listing. Now that the non-free listings have expired again, how do I know if I can relist the items without getting charged again? Thank you.

The 1st, but you don't see how many you have left until you list one.

Yes, it does show how many are left. In My eBay All Selling, right down the bottom as Kopen said. At least on my window anyway.

Only after you list the first one. Before that you get the link to check if you qualify.
Anewearth, if you qualify for free listings and you haven't listed 30 in February, you will get free ones.

It is 30 free per calender month.
Your completed listings show a sell through rate of zero, that is why you are given free listings to allow you to trial things and find what works, you obviously need to do a lot of finding as it is just a waste of time listing without selling anything.
Have you done a completed items search to see what sort of sales are being made on a particular book, what they are selling for and how much sellers are charging for postage?
You need to do better in at least two of those to have a chance of breaking into the bookseller market which is pretty competitive.

Thanks for the replies.
I click on "All Selling" and scroll down to the bottom, and under Listing Offers, there is only one line: "Take advantage of our listing offers and save." I did see something like 0/30 free listings available after the non-free listings expired over a week ago. But now there is no information relating to free listings at all. I might have to ring eBay tomorrow and ask about it.

As I said yesterday, they don't show until you list the first one. The free listings start on the 1st of the month - just list.

That's interesting, dave. I guess another way to find out whether you still have any free listings left is to see what the fees are just before you submit the listing. If there's a .50c fee, chances are you've got none left.

no you do not have to do that, just do as dave suggested yesterday,
list one item
check your Selling page and you will see
1 free listing / 29 still remaining
it is that simple.
