glitch with paying seller account automatically by paypal balance...anyone else had it this month?

Friday I had an annoying email saying my ebay account hadn't been paid in august, that the Paypal payment had been reversed.

I checked my messages in ebay it was a real email.  so I rang paypal.  they said there was no problem with my account, they had not had instruction from ebay this month and I needed to call ebay.......................oh joy - a merrygoround

so I ring ebay they can see my payment came out last month and all previous months no issue (automatic payment instruction - direct debit) and that they had had a number of calls in this regard and to leave it with them they would have their tech team address it.

I took the ref no. of the call, I got a polite please be patient email back from "Bliss".

saturday I get a email from "ebay global collections" - don't forget to make payment........

so I tack that onto my ref/reply from bliss and fwed to ebay customer service.....

this evening I get a response from eb cust. support.......standard spiel listing my acc charges.....I did not ask for a breakdown.....clearly they didn't read my email or question.  at the end of course it says if you don't pay your account you'll be charged interest....

so I am concerned my account will have its sales ended and axed..........or it will affect my seller dashboard.... and if I make a "one time payment" to resolve this what happens to my direct debit instruction...will it happen next month or will I be paying twice......

anyone else been caught up in this situation..lately and how do I resolve it?!  thanks

If you make a manual payment and the problem with the auto problem is resolved then you will most likely pay twice, your account will go into positive balance and that amount will go toward your next month's bill.

If it is not resolved then the same thing may very well happen next month, if it does I would cancel the auto payment through Paypal and change it to a credit card.

I got an email saying that paypal rejected the auto payment. I just did the one off transfer thing and payed the balance owing.

I received an email today saying I still owe money but my account seems to be in good standing now. The account section is in the black and my account status has gone back to normal (it did have a little flag on it for a while saying that I owed money).

also got an email from a seller who didn't want to reply via the boards. they did the one time payment to temporarily resolve the issue as well. so so far theres three of us who had the issue, not sure about the credit card idea I don't want to attach a credit card. anyway I guess it'll be until next month...however was rather time consuming chasing ebay, paypal, replying to emails from ebay. wouldn't want that every month. direct debit means just that!! thanks all.

In your Paypal account does it show the money (fees) going out to eBay? And no reversal?

I had dramas on my July invoice.  My account was set to automatically pay via Credit Card and has worked that way for ages - then in July, the system decided not to do it that way and I also got an email saying my account was Unpaid.  I made the one time payment to try and avoid any interrption to selling etc and then reset my automatic payment methods just to be sure.  I received an email confirming . . . . . . . but in paying July by one time payment, they also charged me all Fees due up to that point in August

Beats me . . . . . . .
