has anyone else been having problems with gallery photos not listing correctly?

yes, especially yesterday....but it was FRIDAY (glitch/maintenance day)

From another thread, it was said that you can't change the Gallery Photo after the listing starts. That might be what you mean.

-- and you cannot choose 'which' pic will be the gallery.. it will ALWAYS be the first pic as gallery

however you can move them around to decide which pic is first by using the >>>> and the <<<< keys under the photo

Had it for weeks, no-one is doing anything about it. I've given up asking for help. Now just living with it.

I'm using IE & having no end of problems this morning - can't get any pictures to show at all, even though they are loaded...will just have to fix later??

Have you got the problem Putney? I don't think you do. The problem I'm getting won't allow you to click on the name of pic to make a change so you are effectively stuck. Alternately, I've changed the image through the "revise your item" which works in there but when viewed from My Ebay Page it's still the same...nothing has changed.

I was having major problems loading photos full stop.  Did all the usual 'delete browsing history', changed browsers several times - still hiccups.  Then finally some bright spark at eBay asked if my Javascript was enabled.  As it turns out yes it was, but needed updating. 

This could possibly be the answer to your problem.

I can hardly believe it, whilst I have come across some very lovely helpful (within strict limitations) reps indeed, trouble shooting to actually resolve such an issue in real-time is not a rep skill I have ever had the luck to strike
