how do I get ebay to step in to an issue with buyer?

The buyer is seeking for a full refund and I believed there is no basis for this for the following reasons:

1. Upon receiving the lens, he left a positive feedback and left a comment "item as described"

2. However, after 3 weeks of having the lens he then complained that lens retracts to its original position when it is held in an up or down position. In response I sent him 4 links of reviews to similar lens to let him know that it is normal for this type of lens which I don't know if he bother to open the link because he still disagree and now complaining it retracts excessively when I asked him how he knows "excessively or not" his response was his son in law has the same lens.

3. Given his initial feedback and it took him 3 weeks to complain, I am now concerned that the lens might have been damaged in his possession. Also given his response that his son in law has exactly the same lens I am concerned that he might return a different lens to me.

4. lens that I sold to him is hardly used because my husband does not like crop sensor and prefer a full frame gear because of this I advertised the camera and lenses "as good as new" - in fact I sold the whole gear (camera, 2 other lenses and 1 more to put up) here on ebay without an issue with other buyer.

Ebay please open and read my conversation with buyer, await for your response.....

Not sure if you are asking for advice from the community (sellers just like you) or are under the impression you are contacting eBay customer support? If the latter, this is the wrong place, you need to contact eBay, basically follow the prompts in this other thread that some great member posted;

Firstly, this is not ebay you have written to here, just the community boards where members such as yourself will answer your questions.

You will not get an answer from ebay to your questions.

Not being a camera afficionado.... but do lens have serial numbers?

If so, then you will be able to tell if a different one is returned.
