Many people have too much stuff I agree, not talking about the TVs, phones, cars etc which are probably used regularly ....... just too much stuff packed away in boxes or at the back of cupboards that don't see the light of day.  Ebay is great for offloading that stuff.  I've had some amazing experiences listing stuff I never thought anyone would want.

Some buyers are looking for purple-only tupperware items, some are looking for anything with orange spots, some are looking for green cows.  You never know what is unique and what some buyers have in their email alerts.

I've had buyers so grateful for being able to obtain a particular item ..... one even broke down in tears as I handed over the item on my doorstep.

Then there are items you just don't believe will sell.  On a facebook group, someone suggested selling all the name brand paper bags & shoe boxes - Ralph Lauren, Channel, etc ..... amazing.  Even empty good condition iphone boxes sell !!!!!

more to my post is not that phones cars or even tvs are all used ,  is it because everything is so fast know ,that before with 1 phone ,we get home and check messages , we drive everywhere , are we too lazy now . to walk 100 meters to the shops in some cases .

i remember my son when we moved here ordered a pizza delivery from the shop across the road , even the chicken walked it.

i have a friend of mine who has 4 children   total  6 cars in the driveway , i have no idea what happens if they are all home together and 1 wants to get out.lol

You're absolutely right Joe, people have become very lazy, me included. Yes, I will drive 500m to the shop. When I visit my brother in inner city Sydney, I walk everywhere. I don't drive because it's near impossible to get a park near where I want to go and then when I get back to his place, I'd have to park 3 streets away because very few have off street parking so parking is limited. By the time the 2 and 3 car families take all the parks close to home, there are none left. I don't think twice about walking an hour each way into the city. Yet here, it's too much effort to spend 20 minutes walking to the shop.

As for the 6 cars in the driveway, you have to move the Kingswood to get to the Torana so you can get the Ford out. We only have 2 cars here, so depending on who starts first in the morning, depends on who's car is at the back in the driveway. Most of the time my husband gets home before me so he parks on the street and then when I put my car in the driveway, he moves his in behind mine. Saves having to move things around at 4.30am!

I try to avoid walking 600m to the shops and back, but I have 1 1/2 stuffed knees and their limit is pretty much one way. You call it lazy, I call it avoidance of 24 hours, at least, of unwarranted pain.
