Thought you knew a bit about the value of old money?
If I had the bundle to sell I would be asking the full $22500 for the bundle haha

I have 100 $1.00 notes in consecutive order and still with the paper band around them.
Are they really worth $18,000?

Not necessarily Bump....it depends on lot more than condition and consecutive numbers. Signatures, actual date of printing, number of notes printed....it all goes towards the rarity and thus the value.

You might be better off at the site I mentioned they now have 100 Uncirculated Australian $1.00 Notes with Small Consecutive Runs Within Bundle. No RBA wrap but uncirculated. No Bids starting $1100

bump, the DBP $1 was a special note issued by the Reserve Bank. They are scarce/rare and not likely to be as common as your 100 notes, unless your 100 notes have "Commonwealth of Australia" across the top.
I remember when $1 note production stopped. I have many friends who went to banks to get a bundle of 100 notes as an investment. They would have been better to buy 100 worth of shares, but I think they thought that the $1 would be scarce someday.
I have seen 100 note bundles of Knight/Stone $1 notes go for $300-$500 here on eBay. I doubt that Knight/Stone $1 will ever command the same price as $1 DBP notes.

I am neither a buyer or seller of Australian notes. I saw the DBP bundle when looking at notes becasue of thread I had read.
