The system won't allow you to name two variations the same thing, so if you want to provide two choices for fragrance, you will need to give them slightly different names. On the listing form when you go to create a new listing, click 'Create Variations', then on the next screen click 'Add variation detail', as that will allow you to name your own variation detail. For example I'd probably just name the first one 'First fragrance', then list all the avilable choices.

After you've clicked save, the screen will look like the picture below, and you can keep adding more options to 'First Fragrance' (or whatever you call it) by clicking the plus sign underneath.

Then, to add in the second choice, you basically just repeat the above steps (by clicking the 'Add variation detail) and making sure the names aren't identical.

Once you've done all that, you can continue on to the other steps where you can add the item specifics (they things that are exactly the same for every candle), SKU (optional), photos (you upload the main gallery images first, select a variation to show when people choose an option, in you case it wouldn't really matter what it's set at as both choices result in two candles - I upload a picture to every option, though, just because when people put something on their watch list, they have to select an option first, and the image uploaded for that option is what shows on their watch list rather than any of the main gallery lists.

Then you need to input a price and quantity for each option - that can get a bit tricky if you have a lot of different fragrances, simply because the more single options you have, the more combos that can be created. For example, say you have 10 fragrances listed in both variations - that actually creates 10 possible combinations per fragrance, so 100 selectable options all up, and you need to make sure you'll be able to supply as many as you make available in whatever combo the buyer selects.
