I have listed a few items over the last 6 weeks and some of the items had a BIN with Best Offer but the Best Offer does not show up on any of the phone/'tablet type of gadgets.
I have just read another thread where it would appear that some looking at listings on iPhones are seeing items as having free postage when the seller has put postage in the listing.
As these gadgets are becoming more popular and eBay are supplying the apps for them should eBay have to take some of the responsibility for the problems with listings?
I don't see why I should be paying fees to offer BIN with Best Offer when the Best Offer isn't there, if I had realised this problem existed I would have put in an auction start price with a BIN.
As it is I feel the listings were a waste of time and I only became aware of the problem when a friend told me about the listings.
Yes, I know there is nothing to be done but at least I have got it off my chest!!:^O

The changing listings to appear as Free Post glitch on phones has been happening for months now -- and happened again for quite a few hours this afternoon ๐

I feel your pain.
The eBay app is a shocker and, whilst more and more customers are shopping online with their phones and tablets, I think a lot of sellers cringe over the monumental stuff ups that occur when humans with stubby fingers (lol) use their gadgets to buy:
- app glitches such as those you have mentioned
- leaving grey or red dots accidentally with their positive comment
- leaving low star ratings when trying to click the best possible star ratings
- buying multiples of the same item when their intention was only to buy one
The list goes on, I'm sure... eBay won't take responsibility, sadly

Well i have no immediate intentions of getting a smartphone and I couldn't be bothered with the tablet so gave it to the foxcubs so I will be sticking with my lappy lol.
Most of my items have free postage anyway and I rarely use best offer so I am hoping those buyers who do use the phones and tablets will not cause me too much grief.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?

PJ it really doesn't matter what your intentions might be and even if you had used your tablet as a suppository it doesn't help sellers with buyers using these devices.
The eBay app has so many faults it is not funny and as a seller I have to try to cope with buyers using these device.
