I would say the answer is no, but can you explain the circumstances please?

Are you perhaps looking at the bidding history of an item where there are 2 bidders with exactly the same amount showing as the winners?
If that is the scenario then the winner is the bidder who placed the first bid....look at the times that the bids were placed to find the winner.

You could have accidently listed the item twice, did both winners win the same item number?
ebay will notify you when the listing has finished and it will contain the name and ID of the successful bidder so have you received 2 of these notifications, each with a different buyer?

Lee Mathews cotton slip dress
Maybe one buyer bought this item and the other bought the Lee Mathews cotton slip dress size 1.
When listing 2 such similar dresses it helps to put the colour in the title of the listing that way when you get the ebay notifications you can easily see which item was purchased by which buyer and it also makes checking the Paypal payments easier.
If I list 2 items of the same colour I would put something such as "Lee Mathews cotton slip dress (a)" and "Lee Mathews cotton slip dress (b)".

You are on the ball Bump. I assumed the OP was asking as a buyer who had missed out on an auction.
I wonder if we will ever know who is right?
