item's authenticity

Hi. I listed an auction only to have it removed due to the item's authenticity. How can I know if they are 'the genuine article'?

They are Christian Louboutin heels, and seemed to be the real thing to me. I never even thought that 'a fake' would even be an issue of such a thing! Anyone with any insight would be welcome!

You must be able to prove the authenticity of any designer goods you list on ebay.  Do you have a receipt to prove where you bought them?

Where did you get the shoes from?

Do you have a receipt from an official seller of the shoes stating the brand and style?

It is illegal to own, sell, import fakes.
