items being sold dont show in search

just now i was selling a few items and about 10min before end of auction the item could no longer be found in the search..every search would only show buy it now items even though i had all items selected..

Because of this my item sold for much lower than i have sold them for before..

I wonder how many people are losing out beacuse stupid ebay sometimes wont show all items ..

But i bet they will still take their selling fees even though i emailed them about the problem..

having second thoughts about ever using ebay again..

There is a foolproof way of not being bothered about where, when and if your items appear in searches:

Don't search for your own items.

With auction items I manage to achieve a healthy sell through rate without ever having searched for a single item.
