After the buyer has paid, you should get a notification on your phone that they have paid (if you have notifications turned on). Or, if you open the item they have bought, it will say up the top in a green bar "buyer has paid for this item".
Once they have paid, go into the item they have bought and up the top of the screen, tap on the blue bar "mark as sent". If they have bought more than one item, you will need to do this for each item.
After you have hit the blue bar, it will ask if you want to enter a tracking number. If you sent in a parcel, Aust Post will have a tracking number on the receipt. Add that number for each item they bought after you mark it as paid. The buyer will then receive an automated message from eBay saying their item has been sent and it will show the tracking number if you entered one.

Hi
If you just go into selling/ sold items and select Sold on the far right side next to each sold item is an actions column and you click on the tab at the fsr right and it will bring up options including mark posted which you can select. You can also add tracking numbers if relevant.
Its best to wait for payment but possible to post and mark as posted before but this is of course risky as the buyers somtimes don't pay.

AFTER THE BUYER HAS PAID: it all depends on which postage method you choose:-
if you use the ebay PRINT POSTAGE LABEL system - you could send as a 500g calculated postage (not in a satchel) and it will print the prepaid label for you and ultimately cost you $7.20 less 72c which is their offer at the moment - and the system will mark it as posted and add the tracking number
or you could go into click and send and use their satchels (assuming you have them) and it will cost you $7.30 plus the cost of the satchel and the system will mark it as posted and add the tracking number
If you go to the PO and buy a 500g satchel it will cost you $8.25 and you peel off the tracking number and keep it for your records, and manually add the tracking number to the sold item, which will then show as posted.

Hi,
If the buyer pays using PayPal the 'Paid" (ie $) icon on your selling page next to the particular item will automatically light up. If they pay by Bank Transfer, I have to manually click the 'Paid' icon.
As for posted, the only instance in which this automatically lights up, in my experience, is when I choose to print out a postage label for the item. Otherwise I have to do it manually, when I have posted.

That, like so much on bloody eBay, didn't work. The blue bar reveals nothing.
