no increase shown for listed item price

Hi I have listed an item for auction start price is $200 there have been 2 bids but so far the list price is not showing any increase? when i view the listing  is shows that the next bid needs to be $ 202.50  What I am asking is should each bid show a higer price or can 2 bids be lodged by different buyers for same price.  one item listed only

If you click on the listing where it says [2 bids] you'll see that it is the same bidder. They have placed one bid and then another bid. The bidding amount shown will only increase if another bidder places a bid.

When a bidder increases their maximum amount it shows as another bid being placed. I just looked at an item that had 13 bids on it (from the same bidder) but was still at 99 cents - the bidder has obviously increased their maximum bid amount 12 times after the original bid.

Thanks for your answers item has now got a higher bid price so things are looking better for me 🙂
