Wanting some advise if it is worth it to open a store now since the price has risen? I know you have to have app 80 to 100 listings to make it worth while but does it make much difference than just listing normally. I am now a Bronze seller on another ID so it is costing me each time I list. From memory it was a lot more than $3000 a year to become a power seller before this free listings were introduced? Can't seem to find the fees for listings for a store, every link I try on ebay says page no longer available, pity they weren't as good on reviewing & renewing the links as they are on charging overpriced store fees. Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Store listing fees are much lower, especially for higher priced items, as it's a flat 20c no matter what the BIN price is , but that's for BIN items only, auctions are still charged at the normal insertion fee plus- from memory - also the higher FVF of 7.9%, as opposed to store BIN FVF which is 7%... The other change is the way FVF is charged. There used to be a sliding scale so that the higher priced items were charged at a lower percentage overall, but now it's a flat rate percentage with a $100 cap per item FVF....if all that makes sense!
Those fees also don't apply to media categories (books, DVDs, CDs, video games). The insertion fee for media categories is 5c + 9.9% FVF.
So, while the store fee is up, the listing and FV fees are down, so it may balance out or even be cheaper now depending on what you list and average turnover.
I can't really give much more specific advice than that without being nosy about your items and sell-through rate. :8}

PS level has been 100 items and $3,000 p.a. for several years now (as long as I have been PS)

Thankyou for your advise, so each listing is only 20 cents? what about multiple lisings. Maybe it will work out cheaper?

Also need to know, the listings app 30 I have on at the moment will not go into my store but will they still be on my home page for me to relist into store or will they be gone & will I have to do them all again?

I was listing separately whilst I accumulated enough feedback to open a store and when I reached this point the listings were automatically transferred to the store.
I have a very limited range of items but the store enables me to list multiple quantities of each for only 20c. each 30 days.
Every item sold assists in the Best Match criteria bringing these higher in the search results. This does not happen with listing individual items for auction or BIN.
It does depend very much on the type of items and whether they are one-off or multiple stock items.

This page is working now:

Aside from fees, the primary advantage to owning a store is greater support for cross promotion via the "Listing Frame" feature in which links to your store categories appear. Careful/clever naming of the categories has some potential to draw shoppers in from your item listings.
